Anchor of Hope - Madoc
Anchor of Hope Crisis Pregnancy Centre The Anchor of Hope exists to aid women experiencing problem pregnancies. By providing information, practical guidance, encouragement, and support, our goal is to help them sort through their fears and anxieties about the pregnancy.
We offer additional support for those women, and their families, who are not in a crisis situation. The Anchor of Hope is a locally organized and funded non profit Christian ministry. It is a satelitte office of the Belleville Pregnancy and Family Care Centre and is governed by a local Executive Committee that answers to the BPFCC's Board of Directors.
The Anchor of Hope is managed by a Director- Kara Vallinga - who carries out the activities of the centre with the help of well trained volunteer staff, in a confidential setting.

Post Abortion Peer Counselling
A nine step program to help women suffering from post-abortion grief which takes you through steps of healing and forgiveness. What are common symptoms of post-abortion grief? Anxiety, regret, guilt, sorrow, feeling of loss, nightmares, anger, inablity to sustain an intimate relationship, self destructive behavior.
Post-Abortion peer counselling is for men too. The past is the past. Let's face it... guys usually don't like going for help. We deal with problems our way. We work it out and move on. We like to keep the past in the past where it belongs. Usually it works...But every once and a while the past just hangs on. Abortion is often one of those things that just won't let go. Dealing with it. Abortion robs a man of being able to provide and protect. It takes away his instinct for love, commitment, and provision.
We want to help you deal with your grief in a healthy and meaningful way. It takes courage and strength to call. Please do. We are here to help. 613-969-7866
